Bravest of the World
No more supplanting the acrid
And vilest visions of tears.
To seek the apex of the mount
To conquer the silent fears.
To eradicate the sordid continental slurs
And open forever the weighty door,
The most staunch and profound cavaliers
Sequestered in silence about to explore.
Errant winds avail the dawn of hope
As the proud Carolina Wren feeds her tiny brood.
May the castigations of the saints of sin
Toil in the same field as the wayward crude.
The winds of change blow dust across the plains
Though silence falls for the right of the masses,
Those that care not for their brother’s peace,
Ardent fire overtakes the amber rye grasses.
Dare you not waste time before the setting sun?
The harbingers of night are nonplussed and cold,
What was once a land of purity and prosperity
Is now barren, parched, and uncontrolled.
The catalyst was ignored like the changing climate,
Yet the seeds of passion were thrown to the sea,
Then the overburdened curtain violently fell,
And all was left to be shouldered by Illuminati.
Take back your rights as the custodians of the earth
Waste not the organics of the seeds of plenty,
Pick up those rusted plows and rotted straw hats
The dented canteens of yesteryear, no longer empty.
The voices of the past will teach you again
And scions of fortitude branch from the apple tree,
Yet hard work will leave your hands aching
But you’ll understand the true meaning of liberty.
As days turn into nights and the fruits of labor grow
Humanity will once again become what it used to be
And we’ll regain those positive thoughts that once were,
To return to the land of the strong and home of the free.
